how is consignment" different from "resale"?
we are an upscale consigment boutique, which works a little differently from 
a thrift store or a re-sale shop. here, we pay our consignors after their items have sold. This provides
customers with reasonable prices, while ensuring the consignor receives
the most value for their items. This important difference in our business model allows us to provide the highest
level of  customer satisfaction, both for our buyers and sellers.
To buy from us:
if you love high quality items and unbelievable deals, you will love our store. stop by anytime during
our open hours, or visit our website anytime to browse our unique inventory.
To sell with us:
please drop by the store so that our team can identify which pieces we can accept.
 We then steam, research, price, and display your items. our standard agreement provides 40% to our
consignors post-sale, but this percentage increases for higher-priced items.

CONSIGNOR POLICY  
 CONSIGNOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ENSURING THAT ALL ITEMS ARE AUTHENTIC, DAMAGE FREE, CLEAN, SEASONAL,
AND IN NEAR PERFECT CONDITION  (NO ODORS, PILLING, TEARS, STAINS). PRICES AND MERCHANDISE
ARE  DETERMINED BY OUR TEAM at Linden, AND ARE BASED ON INDuSTRY STANDARDs, RESALE VALUE,
AND FAIR MARKET VALUE. PRICES ARE ALSO DEPENDENT UPON LABEL, CONDITION, AGE, STYLE, AND DEMAND. 
 PRICE TAGS INCLUDE A $1-$4 BUYER'S FEE. COMISSION TO THE  CONSIGNOR IS 40% WITH A LIST PRICE OF UP TO
$199, 50% WITH A LIST PRICE BETWEEN $200 - $999, AND 70% FOR FINE JEWELRY/LUXURY ITEMS PRICED
AT $999 OR HIGHER. GENERALLY OUR DISCOUNT POLICY IS 20% OFF INTIAL PRICE AT 30 DAYS, OR 50% OFF THE INTITIAL SALE PRICE AT
50 DAYS. HIGH END BRAND ITEMS MAY BE DISCOUNTED 20% AT 45 DAYS. THIS EXCLUDES FINE JEWELRY AND LUXURY ITEMS,
WHICH CAN ONLY BE DISCOUNTED WITH APPROVAL OF THE CONSIGNOR. FOR A CONSIGNOR TO PICK UP AN UNSOLD ITEM,
THEY MUST CONTACT THE STORE AND SPEAK WITH THE OWNER TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT. 
 ANY MERCHANDISE NOT RETRIEVED WITHIN 14 DAYS OF THE CONSIGNMENT END
DATE WILL BE MARKED FOR CLEARANCE OR OTHERWISE BE DONATED. LIKEWISE, ANY MONEY REMAINING UNCOLLECTED
BECOMES THE PROPERTY OF LINDEN CONSIGNMENT AFTER ONE YEAR. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THE LOSS OR
DAMAGE TO MERCHANDISE DUE TO THEFT, FIRE OR UNFORSEEN CIRCUMSTANCES
BEYOND our CONTROL. NO EXCEPTIONS APPLY.
